Welcome to WAMCAT!
WAMCAT is an organization dedicated to the continuing growth and education of all Wyoming municipal employees through association, workshops and institutes. WAMCAT is governed by a board consisting of clerks and treasurers who strive to provide up-to-date educational material and to promote unity in Wyoming.
In joining WAMCAT, you will belong to a group of professionals who hold a great deal of responsibility to their cities and towns. The WAMCAT organization is a wonderful avenue for networking and high-level educational opportunities and WAMCAT members receive discounted registration fees for WAMCAT institutes and training sessions.
WAMCAT Member Rates: $75.00 for each member from a City or a Town if paying with a check via mail or $77.93 for each member from a City or a Town if paying online.

Refund Policy
Refunds offered on a case-by-case basis unless specifically noted in event or membership registration. Please contact [email protected] with any questions regarding a refund.
Honorary Membership application
Honorary Membership is a lifetime designation. Honorary Membership status shall be voted on at the Annual Business Meeting. It must be approved by a majority of the membership present. Honorary Members are not entitled to a vote on matters before the membership, or to hold office.
Nominations for Honorary Membership shall be made in writing on the proper nominating form to the Immediate Past President in advance of or in person at the Annual Business Meeting, given the nomination meets the Honorary Member Criteria.
Criteria for nomination as an Honorary WAMCAT Member shall be as follows:
1. Must have worked as a Municipal Clerk, Municipal Treasurer, Municipal Clerk/Treasurer, or Municipal Finance Officer for no less than ten (10) years and must have served as a WAMCAT Officer, Board Member, or on a Committee for at least four (4) years. He/she must be retired or no longer working in the field, and as such is no longer eligible for active membership; or
2. May not have served as a Municipal Clerk, Municipal Treasurer, Municipal Clerk/Treasurer, or Municipal Finance Officer, but has given outstanding service to the WAMCAT organization or the professions as a whole (not just an individual Clerk or single Municipality).
Nominations meeting the criteria and submitted properly will be voted upon at the Annual Business Meeting by those members present.
